- B.S. Elementary Education- Indiana University
- Concentration in Language Arts and Humanities
I was born and raised in Griffith, Indiana. When I graduated from high school, I moved to Bloomington to attend Indiana University, where I majored in Elementary Education. My grandmother was a teacher, so I knew from a young age that I wanted to teach as well. This is my 12th year at Immaculate Heart, and I have to say 5th grade is definitely my favorite!
Technology is a passion of mine, and I have been lucky enough to attend the ISTE teacher technology conferences in Denver, San Diego, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and most recently this summer in Denver again. I love cooking, singing, attending all kinds of sporting events (IU and Notre Dame, in particular), and relaxing with my husband and pets. I have three dogs and one cat, and you can see their pictures below. Chances are you've spotted a few of my dogs roaming the halls before- they love to come to school and visit their 5th grade friends!
