It's time for our first blog entry of the year! Each week, a student will be in charge of summarizing our week. Our first blogger is Margeaux! Here's what she had to say about our first full week of school.
Our fifth grade year is off to a great start. In the first week of our 2016-2017 year, we had the exciting shift of having four teachers instead of two. Mrs. Foulke introduced writing our own books. Mrs. Florey is so funny! She makes learning fun. Mr. Fischer is brilliant! He takes us outside for social studies. Miss Boebinger in science class is so nice and sweet. Science class should be fun this year. It looks like, though, there's going to be a lot more HOMEWORK!!! 5th grade also offers new attire for the girls- SKIRTS!!! Skirts make me feel more confident. This weekend we are all looking forward to the IHM fall kick off fest and the 5K, a beloved parish tradition.
