Stations of the Cross

Station 5

Simon was forced to help carry Jesus' cross because he was too weak to carry it.
Simon didn't want to do it because he did not want to be looked down upon.
He did not know who's cross it was, but once he realized it was Jesus' cross, he was happy to help.
He was proud to carry it.

Station 6

Veronica could have been whipped for her kind gesture, but it outweighed the consequences for Veronica.
She was told to stop, but she did it anyways
Veronica saw Jesus suffering and helped Him
She was brave and didn't care what the crowd thought
The formula for the kingdom of God is putting others before yourself
Whatever kind acts you do for others, you are also doing for Jesus.
